Introducing Drive, the new way to manage your storage

by Jolicloud Team

June 20th, 2014

A couple of days ago we have launched our new app Drive.

Drive is the missing filesystem for the cloud. Most of us are using many different storages, but it has never been easy to access them all at one time. This is why we have created Drive. It combines all your storages and makes it easy to access and share your files. If you are already a Jolicloud user, you just need to log with your existing account and start adding new storage.

For intensive and professional users, we are introducing a Pro version. Drive Pro is the ultimate storage interface. It enables you to add multiple accounts of the same service – such as your work and personal accounts. It also makes it possible for the first time to move files from one storage to another. Just drag and drop and voilà!

We hope you will love Drive and we can’t wait to listen to your feedback. How much space do you have combined? What are the features you want to see, the services you want us to add?

We are looking forward to hear all your feedback, in the meantime pay a visit to our new website and check out more details about Drive.

Happy Joliclouding!

I wish we had more services in Jolicloud, to not feel so disconnected from the world … and boring. I want to add Twitter, G+, a messaging service as Pidgin, a music service (even if it ran through Youtube)

The thing that is missing from all these types of services is the ability to add or connect to some type of local storage (ie: my own server) Maybe a applet that resides on the server and links to Joli or something of the like. Until this is available, many will continue to pass these things up.

@tmacher We focus on the web for now :)

@jsmrls Check our other app for that! It’s even accessible from Drive via the switcher!

@jrl Maybe in the future ;)

The app won’t open for me on my iPad mini. I wanted to check the feedback in the App Store but now I can’t find the app in the App Store anymore. What’s up?

The iOS app has been removed from the App Store for now since we focus on the web. But you can use the web app from Safari mobile :)

I really love the new drive service! One thing is holding me from upgrading to pro: I don’t see the cloud storage provider listed?! As I use both Dropbox and Copy, your pro service would really hit the spot with me. Please add support for copy!
